Our Property
A peaceful getaway from the chaos of town. Only a 10 minute drive from downtown Fredericksburg for shopping, restaurants , and wineries. We share 12 acres with our donkeys, goats, deer, barn cats, birds and, of course, our guests. Each of our bedrooms are beautiful and unique; filled with artwork and antiques. All bedrooms are on the second floor, so guests need to be able to climb one flight of stairs with their bag(s).
In order to keep the property peaceful for our guests, we do not accept any group bookings (6 or more – even in own rooms) or bridal parties.
Rooms
A large limestone rock guesthouse has five second floor bedrooms. All guest bedrooms come with in-suite bathrooms and tub shower combo except the Victorian Suite (tub only). We serve a complimentary breakfast to all confirmed guests at 9am in our dining room.
Our first floor common areas are open 9am to 8pm and include our living room area, outside back decks and courtyard with seating and tables. Second floor common areas are the library, along with front and back decks with seating and tables.
Check-in is from 3pm-5pm. Guests will be offered a complimentary glass of wine and a snack. The latest possible check in is 8pm. Unfortunately, we do not offer later check-ins since late night check-ins seem to bother other guests that have already arrived.
